Marie-Josée Couture practices corporate and commercial law in the Banking and Finance Services group of Dentons Canada LLP’s Montreal office. Her practice focuses on Canadian and international lending.

Marie-Josée represents clients engaged in credit and structured finance transactions, including syndicated loans, factoring, asset-based lending and equipment financing. She advises lenders and borrowers in project financings, public and private takeovers, asset acquisitions and debt restructuring. She negotiates, prepares and finalizes credit agreements and security and debt restructuring documents. She also negotiates and drafts a variety of commercial agreements and advises clients on the corporate and commercial matters that arise in their day–to–day activities.
