Position

Prof. dr hab. Aleksander Chłopecki specializes in civil law, commercial law, capital markets, insurance, banking and securities law. He has unique expertise in the scope of regulations pertaining to capital markets and financial institutions.

He authored and co-authored numerous books and articles on securities law, commercial and civil law. He also co-authored part of the Polish capital markets regulatory framework, both past and present.

Career

Of Counsel at Dentons since 2010. Lecturer at the University of Warsaw, Institute of Civil Law, since 1989. Previously, member of the Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group at ESMA, Management Board Member of the National Depository for Securities in Poland and Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs at the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission.
