A&O Shearman has maintained an active deal flow in 2023 with a mixture of IPOs, secondary offerings, SPAC transactions and convertible securities. More recently, its work for underwriters in IPOs and other equity offerings has stood out. It represented the underwriters of Mineralys Therapeutics’s upsized IPO in 2023, showcasing the team’s expertise in healthcare and life sciences deals, a key area of focus for New York’s Ilir Mujalovic, who leads the Americas capital markets team.
