Position

António is Dentons LEAD’s managing partner and one of the Founding Partners of the firm. António heads the Litigation, Arbitration and Civil Law practice areas. His specializations include litigation in different areas of Law, with special focus on Civil, Criminal, Corporate, Administrative, Maritime and Employment law.

Career

Highly recognized for his expertise in the resolution of litigation cases, António’s experience has been consolidated by practicing both in the Angolan as well as in the Portuguese jurisdictions. He has assisted national and international clients in numerous civil and criminal judicial proceedings of high complexity and acted as lawyer and arbitrator in national and international arbitration proceedings.

Throughout his career he has advised and represented both the State and public entities as well as private entities, participating in national and international negotiations, including asset recovery negotiations in the international market.

António has participated as a speaker in conferences and seminars on arbitration, civil procedure and labour law.

Prior to founding Dentons LEAD, Antonio was a Partner at FBL Advogados.
