Career
Maysa Verzola has over 19 years of experience in strategic litigation, domestic and international arbitrations, and regulatory matters before the Public Administration. She represents national and foreign clients, investment funds, concessionaires of public services, financial institutions, various industries and services providers.
She worked in domestic and international arbitrations before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Arbitration Center of the Brazil-Canada Commercial Chamber (CAM – CCBC), Stock Market Arbitration Chamber of BM&FBovespa (CAM), Fiesp/Ciesp Arbitration Chamber and International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR, the international branch of the American Arbitration Association – AAA), some of them together with global law firms.
Before joining GNB, she was a partner with Campos Mello Advogados – in cooperation with DLA Piper (2018-2019), a counsel with Cescon Barrieu Advogados (2015-2018) and a senior associate with TozziniFreire Advogados (2001-2014). She also worked as a foreign associate with Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC.
