Career

Mr. Casas advises local and international clients on tax matters, specifically in the Tax Disputes Litigation area, where he and the team handle complex and high-profile matters; having gathered an excellent track of important milestones and solutions achieved.

Prior joining Fischer y Cía. in 2021, Mr. Casas was a Senior Associate at Letonja & Cía. Abogados Tributarios (2017-2021) and an Associate at Cabello, Letonja & Cía Abogados Tributarios, since 2015.

Mr. Casas is also Professor at the Diploma in Tax Modernization and the Diploma in Tax Legislation of Universidad de Chile since 2020; also, at the Diploma and Master in Tax Legislation and Examination at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, since 2020; and as well, is a Professor at the Master in Tax Law of Universidad de Concepción, since 2021.

Patricio Casas earned his Law degree, LL.M and Doctorate in Research lines in Tax Law and Tax Procedural Law, at Universidad de Chile in 2014, 2020 and 2023, respectively.
