Career

Luisa Núñez has experience in Corporate and Financing areas, Corporate matters, Cross-border Transactions involving finance transactions (both corporate and project finance), Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Joint-ventures.

She has worked extensively in projects involving regulatory authorities in the Chilean securities and public works concessions areas. She has represented a range of clients including multinational corporations, banks, financial advisers and monoline insurers.

Ms. Núñez is the titular professor of the Financing and Derivative Transactions course in the Master in Business Law at the Law School of the Adolfo Ibáñez University.

From the year 2005 to 2006 she pursued an LL.M. degree at Columbia Law School, which included a Project Finance course from the MBA Program at Columbia Business School.

During the years 2006 and 2007 she worked as a foreign intern with the Project Finance Team at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP, New York office.

She joined Claro & Cia. in 1999 and became partner in 2011.
