Hamid Namazie
Career
Managing Partner, Los Angeles – Downtown office. He particularly represents banks, institutional lenders and commercial finance companies providing asset-based loans, senior-secured loans, second-lien and subordinated loans. Hamid has particular experience in complex intercreditor issues, debtor-in-possession financing, workouts, cross-border and multi-currency lending structures, widely syndicated loan transactions, and exit financing. He also handles secured loan facilities extended to borrowers providing financing to consumers, as well as Truth in Lending and similar local law issues involved in such transactions. Hamid has also been active in working with various state legislatures in crafting legislation dealing with lender disclosures for commercial financing transactions and is a member of the Secured Finance Network’s Advocacy Committee dealing with various issues including the implementation of the CARES Act.
Frequent speaker on events organized by the Southern California Chapter of the Secured Finance Network and the Secured Finance Network’s annual conference.
