James Pius Rushomesa is a senior associate in Bowmans’ Dar es Salaam office.
He specialises in corporate commercial law and has worked on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters focusing on cross-border M&A transactions, capital markets, mining, oil and gas, energy, company formation and company secretarial services among others.
Prior to joining Bowmans, James trained and worked for over nine years in the Dar es Salaam office of an international law firm where he also briefly spent time on secondments in Dubai, Johannesburg London and Nairobi.
James is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
He has an LLB (Hons) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
