Working closely with the firm’s other offshore offices, Conyers’ team in Cayman fields specialists in corporate litigation, international arbitration, cross-border insolvency and restructuring, contentious trusts disputes, and other litigation involving Cayman structures, including property, regulatory, and employment disputes. The team has notably been involved in a number of appeals before the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal, as well as substantial trials and interlocutory applications before the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands. Alex Potts QC heads up the team, which counts all-rounder Jonathon Milne, Erik Bodden and contentious trusts lead Robert Lindley among its key practitioners. In recent news, Roisin Liddy-Murphy and Spencer Vickers were both promoted to counsel in May 2021.
