Eversheds Sutherland, which merged with local firm Tsvetkova Bebov and Partners in June 2022, assists pharmaceutical and food companies with regard to competition and contract law issues, as well as representing clients in commercial and administrative litigation proceedings. Among the matters the team is regularly instructed on are market access issues, pricing and reimbursement legislation, clinical trial agreements and compliance with regulations. The team is jointly led by Irina Tsvetkova and Eleonora Mateina, the latter of whom is praised for her ‘stunning knowledge of pharmaceutical law’.

Eversheds Sutherland is entrusted with varied work which includes advice on M&A deal structuring, completing due diligence and other corporate documentation, as well as the restructuring of domestic and foreign businesses. Practice co-head Irina Tsvetkova is well versed in mergers and acquisitions and the resulting restructurings, and fellow co-head Nikolay Bebov  similarly acts in M&A deals, but with a focus on the financial sector.
