Clare is an Associate in our financial institutions group. Clare has broad experience in advising clients within the financial services sector including investment companies, open-ended investment companies, unit trusts, limited partnerships and limited liability partnerships investing in a range of asset classes. Clare's clients typically include asset managers, banks and institutional investors (including pension schemes).

Clare advises on fund formation via various structures including limited partnership and unit trust. Clare also advises on investment company launches, reorganisations and liquidations.

She is experienced in advising institutional investors on their investments into alternative investment funds established in the UK, the US, Australia and the Cayman Islands. Clare advises local government and pension scheme trustees on a wide range of investment issues, including advising on specific proposed investments, investment management arrangements and derivatives usage.

Clare is a part of the firm's derivative group and advises a range of market participants, including banks, corporates and borrowers on their derivative usage and associated regulatory requirements, including compliance with EMIR.
