Roy is a Senior Associate of the BLP office in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. His specialties include Business Law, Aviation & Maritime, Competition & Antitrust, and Immigration & Nationality practices.

Throughout his 10 years of experience, he has advised international and national entities in processes of economic concentrations before the Commission for the Defense and Promotion of Competition (CDPC). He has participated in corporate processes of incorporation of companies, granting of powers, appointments of members of the Board of Directors, changes in administration, capital increases, liquidations, and civil litigation in contentious and voluntary jurisdiction matters.

Also, advises airlines on regulatory matters before the Honduran Agency of Civil Aeronautics.

He joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2015, after having been a legal advisor to Lexincorp. He worked for the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP) for three consecutive years, where he was appointed as alternate director of that Council before the board of directors of the National Port Company (ENP). He also served as the compliance executive of the HSBC bank and worked as an associate in the Sandoval & Medina and Herrara y Asociados firms.
