Career
Juan José is Director of BLP in the San José office. He has more than 9 years of experience specializing in the practice areas of Insurance & Reinsurance and Business Law.
In the practice of Insurance & Reinsurance, he has experience advising on regulatory matters, authorizations, licenses for insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, drafting and review of insurance contracts, as well as representation and supporting in litigation in the insurance area. In Business Law, he advises local and foreign companies on legal aspects of day to day company operations.
He has been recognized by the prestigious English legal directory Chambers & Partners as an Associate to Watch whose clients value in a special way his availability and solid foundations in the field of insurance and recognize his contributions to the insurance sector.
He joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2011, after having worked as a legal assistant at the firm Gómez & Galindo.
