Partner Julio Guadalupe leads our International Trade and Customs area.
Career
He provides consulting services, planning and preventive audit in international trade and customs matters. He represents in contested international trade and customs processes before the administrative authority and the Judiciary and was president of the Peruvian Association of Customs Law and International Trade, consultant for the Peruvian State in the preparation of the current General Customs Law.
Julio is a member of the Governing Board of the International Trade Guild (XCOM) and president of the logistics sector of the XCOM syndicate of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, as well as is a member of the International Customs Law Academy, university teacher, frequent lecturer in local and international forums, and author of various articles on customs and foreign trade. He teaches in the Post-graduate school of the Law School of Universidad del Pacífico.
He has been recognized as a leading lawyer in his specialty by prestigious international publications such as Chambers & Partners and Who’s Who Legal.
