Career

Patricia counts with more than 30 years of professional experience and leads the Energy & Natural Resources Group. She has extensive experience giving advice to companies in the energy and mining sectors, as well as other industry sectors, including services and infrastructure.

She acted as legal and regulatory advisor in the main privatizations of the country’s electricity sector on the side of potential investors, as well as in their financings, and is currently a consultant to important companies in the electricity and mining sectors.

Likewise, she participated in the structuring of the first regasification terminal in the country as adviser to the group of thermal generators of the Atlantic coast.

In the mining industry, Patricia has counseled multinational companies about mining titles in Colombia from the corporate, regulatory and mergers and acquisitions perspectives.

Patricia has also advised clients in the structuring of their businesses and in mergers and acquisitions. She also has considerable knowledge in corporate and contractual matters, which allows her to give comprehensive advice to clients and companies’ boards of directors.

She is the author of publications related to electrical, mining and corporate legislation.
