Position

Kiragu has over 35 years’ experience in constitutional matters, tax litigation, procurement disputes, commercial litigation, real estate litigation and arbitration. He has handled complex energy and tax disputes and represents multinational firms, local firms and departments of the Government of Kenya. He has recently been involved in a highly contentious matter regarding the election of the President of Kenya which is probably the country’s single most important case since independence having regard to the impact on the socio-political and economic landscape.

Career

Kiragu joined Hamilton Harrison & Mathews in 1988.  He has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration and in various aspects of banking law, state corporations, insurance law and commercial law.
