Janaína represents clients in the real estate industry, including real estate investment funds and joint ventures, local and regional retail and office projects, institutional investors and investment management institutions in a wide range of real estate industry-focused transactions.
She has extensive experience advising real estate clients in acquiring, financing, developing and selling all types of real estate assets. Janaína’s expertise not only covers niche areas such as shopping centers, office buildings, logistics and industrial warehouses, and real estate finance, but also complex rural real estate deals involving timber acquisition, agribusiness and ESG aspects.
Recently, Janaína has been acting as the lead real estate attorney in transactions involving multi-million-dollar acquisitions and divestitures. From the very beginning of her time as a partner at Mattos Filho, Janaína has shown why she has been so successful throughout her 15-year career, playing an innovative, leading role in many highly important cases.
