Clayton is the founding and senior partner at Ketley Miller Joels Ltd. He deals with all aspects of family law specialising in all financial matters, high-net-worth cases, offshore trusts, company structures (private and public), pre-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation law. Clayton also deals with Inheritance Act claims. Clayton is dual qualified in both the UK and Australia.
Clayton predominantly represents HNW clients on multi-jurisdictional issues often involving Jersey or Australia. His cases often involve novel areas of the law across jurisdictions, and he is particularly adept at cases involving trusts.

Clayton commenced his career in Australia in a firm dealing with family law for five years. He joined a niche North London family law practice from 1999, following which he worked at a London West End firm up to 2010. He then founded Ketley Miller Joels in 2010 with Mary Ketley and Jessica Joels.
He is a member of the dual-qualified Family Lawyers, International Bar Association, Anglo-Australian Family Lawyers Group and the Family Law Council of Australia. Clayton is recognised as a Leading Individual in Family Law in legal directories. Clayton has attended and spoken at conferences internationally.
