Career

Catherine completed her training contract at Sanders Witherspoon in Brentwood, qualifying as a solicitor in 1998. Before joining Pinney Talfourd, Catherine was a family solicitor at Holmes & Hills in Braintree and at Gepp & Sons in Chelmsford.

Catherine joined Pinney Talfourd in 2006 as a family solicitor and was made a partner in 2011.

Over the last 5 years Catherine has broadened her area of specialisation to include Contested Wills & Probate and is the head of this department.

Catherine is Chair of Pinney Talfourd’ s Charity Committee, helping to raise funds for several local charities over the years. Catherine is also the Treasurer of the Essex Resolution Committee.

In her spare time Catherine likes to holiday in interesting places and enjoys attending music festivals and spending time with family and friends. Catherine is a keen (fair weather) cyclist and has taken part in the Ride London event twice.
