Rachel joined Weightmans in 2014 where she leads the healthcare team. She has acted for the NHS Resolution (previously the NHSLA) and NHS Trusts since 1997 and was previously at Trowers and Hamlins and Hempsons. Rachel is recognised as a leading figure in clinical negligence.
Rachel specialises in the highest value clinical negligence claims including obstetric, neurological and other catastrophic injuries. She has particular expertise on quantum issues and has settled a large number of cases involving periodical payments. Rachel is a nominated partner for NHS Resolution and supervises both clinical and non clinical claims on their behalf.
Rachel regularly advises and delivers lectures for clients on claims related topics.
