Patricia specialises in finance law specifically funds, banking and security work, including European and UK structured finance. She provides advice on all aspects of finance law including co- ordinating funding to private and public bodies. Her work includes structured finance and advising in respect of the establishment of funding vehicles and the provision of facilities to those entities. Notable clients/transactions include: advising on the sub fund structure of the Northern Powerhouse Investment fund, advising on the £140m Birmingham Joint European
Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises programme (‘JEREMIE’) ; advisor to a southern university on the establishment of a £40m European Regional Development Fund
legacy fund project; lead advisor to £155m North West Fund; Patricia advised on the establishment of this fund, including negotiating the multimillion loan agreement with European Investment Bank and the multimillion Grant Agreement with European Regional Development Fund; securing work from local authorities in respect of regional growth fund, growing places fund and mayoral funds, including Liverpool City Council and Manchester City Council; advising a multi national company on receipt of a €100,000,000 multi- currency, multi-option syndicated facility.
