Position

Jennifer has a broad civil practice, with particular experience in civil, commercial, property and family matters. She has had trial and appellate experience both as a junior counsel and as an advocate in her own right in English and Chinese. She has also advised on and appeared in arbitrations (including emergency arbitrations) and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.

Career

Jennifer joined Chambers in 2018 after completing her pupillages with Mr. Russell Coleman S.C., Ms. Maggie Wong S.C., Ms. Elizabeth Cheung, and Ms. Bonnie Cheng.

Education

Prior to being called to the Hong Kong Bar, Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University, where she graduated with Cum Laude honours and was elected to join the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society for graduating top 10% of her academic division.

She then completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Hong Kong, ranking first overall in her year and receiving prizes for best performance in Equity and Trusts, Land Law, Tort Law, and Criminal Law. She subsequently obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law degree at the University of Oxford.
