Mr. Akshay Chudasama is the Managing Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and heads the Firm’s practice in the Mumbai region. He has advised on various marquee transactions including one of the largest PE acquisitions of a strategic stake in PRL Developers Private Limited by Warburg Pincus; Blackstone’s acquisition of a stake in the commercial/ office space real estate portfolio of the K Raheja Corp Group, India; an American insurance company in their acquisition of an additional 23% equity stake in their joint venture from their Indian partner; Sumitomo Chemical Company in their purchase of a 44.98% stake in Excel Crop Care Limited from the promoters and certain public shareholders, the acquisition of 9 project companies of the Gammon group by BIF India Holdings Pte. Ltd, amongst many more.
