Career

Miklós is a patent attorney in the Intellectual Property Group in Budapest with over 20 years of experience in IP.

The experience he has acquired over the decades in the pharmaceutical sector helped him to gain a broad understanding of IP on both Hungarian and international level. During his time at multiple companies he focused on various areas of IP such as managing intellectual property portfolios, providing patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions and launch-at-risk assessments and managing post-grant proceedings in numerous jurisdictions. He had the chance to support both generic and original R&D including participating in selecting candidates for RD pipelines and finding the strategies that have an IP advantage. He finds that the full support for innovation, especially in pharma sector, goes far beyond the traditional patent attorney areas and needs to deal with other fields like regulatory. His legal background allowed me to provide analyses and assessments of legal and regulatory barriers.
