Position

Carl-Magus is a partner in our International Tax Group, based in Stockholm.

He has 20 years of experience as an adviser in the field of Swedish and international corporate taxation. Throughout his career, he has focussed on complex transactions and structuring, but also continuously worked with litigation and day-to-day tax advice.

Carl-Magnus’ client base covers multinational corporations, local real estate/construction and industrial companies, funds and private equity companies.  He advises clients on everything from minor tax questions to assuming complete responsibility for tax and structuring in private and public transactions. He also actively assists a number of clients in complex cases and disputes with the Swedish Tax Agency and before the courts.

Carl-Magnus is in demand for lectures, seminars and round-table discussions both in Sweden and abroad. Carl-Magnus has also written a large number of articles on tax and transactions in Swedish and international trade publications and also a book titled “Interpretation and Application of the Tax Avoidance Act” (Wolters Kluwer, 2015).

Carl-Magnus holds an LLM from Lund University’s Faculty of Law. He has also studied management, economics, accounting, political science and business law at Lund University, University of Gothenburg and Suffolk University Law School.
