Michelle has worked for many years with public sector and private sector clients on a range of property disputes. She regularly works with local authorities, central government clients, private sector developers, office occupiers as well as partnerships, LLPs, schools, universities, charities and GP surgeries.

Michelle advises on 1954 Act issues, rent arrears, dilapidations, covenant disputes, break notices, unreasonable withholding of consent issues, disputes effecting developments, restrictive covenants and easement. Michelle also specialises in overage disputes, advice on obtaining vacant possession and dilapidations.

Meeting Your Needs

Michelle is a regular speaker at training events for her clients, the RICS, surveyor firms, local authorities and central government departments. She works hard to find resolutions to disputes rather than pushing ahead with needless and costly litigation. She has vast experience of mediations, negotiations, arbitrations and court proceedings. And is a robust but constructive negotiator and seeks to obtain the best result without recourse to the stress and expense of litigation.
