Position

Associate, Employment team.

Tina advises individuals and businesses across all areas of Employment law including unfair dismissal, workplace discrimination, wage disputes, and redundancy. She represents clients at all levels, up to the Supreme Court.

Tina’s practice includes advising company directors, senior executives and junior employees through disciplinary, grievance and performance management, redundancy consultations, flexible working requests, unfair dismissal and negotiation of severance packages.

Tina also has a strong background in providing strategic and responsive advice to a range of employers across various industries such as hospitality, media, HR, education and retail.

She is experienced in the drafting and review of employment contracts, policies and procedures, managing disciplinary and grievances, contractual disputes, TUPE, redundancy and the recruitment process.

Tina has worked closely providing hands on support and advice to in-house HR and business managers to ensure effective practice and implementation as well as members of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Tina also advises on both contentious and non-and contentious matters, having successfully presented and defended claims in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeals Tribunal .

At the forefront of her practice is striving to ensure her clients’ best interests are protected, and achieving the best possible outcome for them. Tina prides herself on being an effective communicator and identifying her client’s best interests from the outset.

Tina has been credited by clients for her supportive and approachable manner when advising on often complex legal issues with clarity, instilling confidence and ease. She is also commercially aware and pragmatic in her approach, with excellent client care being paramount.

She has a good understanding of the difficulties faced by neurodiverse individuals in the employment sphere and advises regularly on the implementation of helpful strategies that aid both employer and employee.

Career

Tina spent several years developing and practicing both contentious and non-contentious law at a number of London firms and before joining Bindmans as an associate in 2021.

Education

Tina graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law in 2005 and completed the LPC in 2007 at BPP in London.
