Work Highlights 

  • M+S Pte. Ltd., a joint venture company 60% owned by Khazanah Nasional Berhad and 40% owned by Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, and its subsidiaries, in the preparation and review of various infrastructure and construction-related project documents for the development and construction of two integrated developments, estimated at S$11 billion, in downtown Singapore.
  • The syndicate of lenders as Singapore counsel in relation to the S$150 million financing to Hyflux Ltd. for the construction of Tuaspring Desalination Plant, Singapore’s second and largest seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, being part of a design, build, own and operate (DBOO) project.
  • A consortium comprising UE NEWater Pte. Ltd. and BEWG International Pte. Ltd., in relation to Singapore’s Second NEWater Plant at Changi (warranted capacity 228,000 cubic metres per day) over a 25-year period from 2016 to 2041, using the DBOO model (this project won the “Water Deal of the Year” at the Global Water Awards 2016).
  • A consortium comprising Hyflux and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the successful bidder, for a Public Private Partnership project with the National Environment Agency of Singapore to design, build, own and operate a waste-to-energy plant with a contracted waste processing capacity of 2,400 tpd of waste.
  • SPI Energy Investments Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Singapore Power Limited in relation to the ownership and operation of a chilled water plant to be installed at a mixed-used development known as Raffles City Chongqing located in Chongqing, PRC.
  • Keppel Merlimau Cogen Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of leading global energy corporation, Keppel Corporation Limited, on the EPC contract and the Major Maintenance Contract for the S$900 million expansion of its power plant on Jurong Island, Singapore.
