WongPartnership is a people-driven organisation built, since its inception, on a strong foundation of diversity within its ranks. We firmly believe that opportunities and advancement in the firm must be based on merit.

In 2018, WongPartnership clinched the “Best National Firm for Women in Business Law” award for a record fifth time and the “Best Firm in Singapore” award for a record seventh time at the Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Asia Women in Business Law Awards. In addition to the main awards, WongPartnership also won the inaugural “Best National Firm for Talent Management” award and “Best Firm for Diversity by National Firm” award. To date, the firm has garnered 20 Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Asia Women in Business Law Awards since 2011. These awards are testament to the positive impact that initiatives such as structured training programmes, varied career paths and flexible work arrangements have had on our lawyers and staff.

Place in the Community

WongPartnership is proud to be part of a vibrant and diverse legal landscape. Beyond that, we are also proud to be part of the wider community and recognise the importance of giving back to society.

WongPartnership actively participates in and contributes financially to various pro bono initiatives in Singapore. Our Pro Bono Practice provides legal services to charities and Institutions of a Public Character, to carry out their advisory and transactional work on a non-fee paying basis. Our lawyers also volunteer at legal clinics throughout the country and are also given secondment opportunities should they wish to be more involved in pro bono work. Aside from pro-bono work, WongPartnership also provides generous financial aid to many charities in Singapore. Several of our partners also sit on the board of not-for-profit organisations.

WongPartnership has been recognised by Asian Legal Business as one of the top 25 law firms in Asia with notable Corporate Social Responsibility work. We were also previously named the “Corporate Citizenship Law Firm of the Year” by the same publication in its Southeast Asia Law Awards.

Headquartered in Singapore, WongPartnership is an award-winning law firm and one of the largest in the country. With offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Yangon, as well as in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Manila, through member firms of WPG, a regional law network, we are a leading provider of legal services in ASEAN, China and the Middle East.

The WPG network includes our Singapore headquarters, offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Myanmar, as well as our member firms – Al Aidarous Advocates and Legal Consultants (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), Foong & Partners (Malaysia), Makes & Partners (Indonesia) and ZGLaw (Philippines). Together, WPG offers the expertise of over 400 professionals to meet the needs of our clients throughout the region. We have lawyers dedicated to supporting other country practices, including India, Thailand and Vietnam. The benefits for clients working on transactions in these jurisdictions include our relationships with local lawyers and our familiarity with local legal developments.

WongPartnership is also a member of the globally renowned World Law Group, one of the oldest and largest networks of leading independent full-service law firms. The World Law Group today has 59 member firms in 89 countries, with over 410 offices and 1800 lawyers world-wide. The World Law Group is one of a few “Elite”-ranked (Band 1) law firm networks, according to Chambers & Partners.

We are also proud to be the only Singapore member of the Employment Law Alliance (ELA), the world’s largest alliance of employment and labour law practitioners of the highest calibre. The ELA currently has more than 3,000 lawyers in over 100 countries and is ranked in Band 1 in the Employment & Labour – Global-wide in Chambers Global.

Our Awards and Accolades

WongPartnership has been consistently ranked as a leading firm across all practice areas in various publications such as Chambers Asia-Pacific & Global, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa, as well as IFLR1000 – The Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms. We also received the inaugural Best Law Firm in Singapore award in FinanceAsia Country Awards.

WongPartnership has also been consistently ranked as one of the world’s leading law firm in the areas of corporate investigations, international arbitration, and cross-border restructuring and insolvency in Global Investigations Review 100, Global Arbitration Review 100, and Global Restructuring Review 100 respectively.
