Senior members of the department are equally adept in contentious and non-contentious matters, bringing deeper insights into the typical problems that arise in projects and energy transactions. The team has worked intensively in solar projects, including in relation to EPC contracts, offtake agreements and power purchase agreements (PPAs). It is also active in green electricity projects, green hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (CCS). Data centre projects are another significant source of business. The firm frequently works with a range of owners, developers and main contractors. Tay Peng Cheng heads the energy, projects and construction team and is a leading name in renewable energy projects, while Ian de Vaz heads the infrastructure, construction and engineering team and is widely recognised for his infrastructure projects expertise, including data centres. Lesley Tan provides further front-end infrastructure project advisory expertise, and Linda Low is noted for renewable energy projects. Sim Qian Yi was promoted to partner in 2024.
