Career
Mr. Chen Jinjin graduated from Peking University Law School with a LL.B degree in 2006.
Before joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, Mr. Chen worked with Wanshang Tianqin (Shenzhen) Law Firm from 2006 to 2009 as an attorney, and worked with King and Wood Mallesons Beijing from 2010 to 2015 as a senior associate. In 2015, Mr. Chen joined Jingtian & Gongcheng as a partner.
Mr. Chen’s practice is primarily in the areas of Company Law and Securities Law, and spans a wide range of corporate matters including onshore and offshore IPOs, inbound and outbound investments, restructure and re-financing of listed companies.
In connection with private equity investment, Mr. Chen has represented numerous RMB or USD dominated funds, such as Citic Capital, Sequoia Capital, Hony Capital, Carlyle Group, IDG, Zero2IPO Venture, GX Capital, Zhong ou fund, Jiuding Capital and Chunxin Capital.
Mr. Chen is particularly well suited in providing full service to companies of TMT Industry and Environmental Protection Industry (energy saving, new energy and new material). Mr. Chen has advised and assisted dozens of such companies each year on their structure establishment or reorganization, venture capital or private equity financing, merge and acquisition.
In the area of capital market, Mr. Chen has provided legal service to a number of companies for their IPO or privatization. Mr. Chen is engaged by several well-known PRC security companies as legal expert member of the internal review committee for investment bank projects.
Mr. Chen was admitted to PRC bar in 2010.
