Since joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Kwon has advised public and private companies and financial institutions in a wide range of transactions, disputes and litigations. His practice focuses primarily on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment and securities regulation.

Mr. Kwon graduated from the College of Law at Seoul National University in 1997, served as judge advocate in the Korean Navy, and joined Kim & Chang in 2002. He received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 2008 and worked at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as international lawyer before returning to the firm.
