Career

Ik Hwan Cho is a foreign attorney (admitted in New York) in the firm’s Finance Department. Mr. Cho advises foreign and Korean clients on a variety of transactional, regulatory and corporate matters.

He has extensive transactional experience representing multi-national clients in cross-border acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, securities offerings and financial transactions. He also advises on securities and other financial regulatory matters. In addition, he has worked with a number of foreign and domestic clients in FSS investigations and white collar crime cases, involving insider trading, market manipulation, breach of fiduciary duty and related issues.

Mr. Cho was admitted to the New York Bar in 1997. He graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, with B.Com in Economics and Finance, in 1993, and received his LL.B. from the University of Toronto Law School, Toronto, Canada, in 1997.
