Singapore > Dispute resolution: local firms
(Leading individuals)Allen & Gledhill LLP has substantially grown its dispute resolution practice over the last decade. The firm’s geographic growth across Southeast Asia and into China has led to a substantial increase in cross-border dispute engagements, including those before the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC). The firm traditionally acted for large Singapore corporates and financial institutions, and now has a much larger multinational client base. It remains especially active in restructuring and insolvency-related litigation, including cases linked to the Hin Leong scandal, along with white-collar crime, arbitration-related litigation and disputes connected to private wealth. It has two senior counsels in Stanley Lai SC, the head of intellectual property, and Jason Chan SC, who leads the white-collar crime team. Andrew Yeo and William Ong co-head the litigation and dispute resolution group, which includes Dinesh Dhillon, Vincent Leow, Tan Kai Liang and Tay Yong Seng.
