Leonie is a Partner in Aberdein Considine’s Family Law Team, based in Edinburgh.
Having specialised in family law for in excess of 18 years, Leonie has a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of family law, including both financial provision and child law. She is Accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Family Law Specialist, Accredited as a Mediator and is a trained Collaborative Lawyer.
As well as providing advice on non-contentious matters, she represents individuals in actions raised in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. She is regularly instructed, and has particular experience, in dealing with cases involving national or international aspects and complicated business assets.
Leonie is a member of the Family Law Association in Scotland, Consensus Collaboration Scotland and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Leonie joined the firm in 2019, having previously been a Senior Associate at Brodies LLP in Edinburgh.
