Position

Nicola Hall is an Associate Solicitor within the Personal Injury Department. She primarily represents cyclists who have suffered life-changing injuries as a result of Road Traffic Accidents as well as pedestrians, motorcyclists and drivers.

She has extensive experience of cycling accidents both in the city and rural locations, with expert knowledge of filtering, roundabouts, potholes, dangerous road surfaces and cycle lanes.

Nicola specialises in complex orthopaedic fractures, loss of limbs, brachial plexus injuries, brain and spinal injuries, fatalities and severe psychiatric harm.

Nicola is known for her personable and down to earth attitude. She prides herself on establishing client solicitor relationships at the outset of a case with trust and confidence which is maintained until completion. She ensures that rehabilitation is in place to aid her client’s recovery and that the care needs of each client is looked at on an individual basis.

Nicola has vast experience of dealing with psychological injuries and will devote time and attention in supporting her clients. She manages expectations appropriately and will negotiate the best possible settlement for her clients.

Nicola also deals with Public Liability Claims, Accidents within the Workplace specifically construction sites as well as Child Abuse Litigation representing victims of historic and recent abuse, pursuing claims both against local authorities and individuals.

Career

Nicola graduated from Swansea University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) 2:1 Degree. She completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 in both Personal Injury and Social Housing. She joined Osbornes in 2015 and was promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2019.

Personal

Nicola heads up the Osbornes Charity Committee and is actively involved in community projects and local initiatives. She has completed RIDE 100 and the London to Brighton Cycle.

Away from the office, Nicola spends her weekends exploring the Berkshire countryside on her road bike, walking, baking and dedicating time to her food and travel blog. She continues to support Launchpad, a local homelessness charity in Reading.
