Career
Merima Čarković-Karasalihović is an experienced lawyer with more than 7 years of experience in legal advising of both domestic and international clients. A vast majority of legal services she provides relates to consulting in regulatory issues related to banks, leasing companies, microcredit organizations and other financial institutions. Apart from regulatory aspects of their businesses, Merima regularly advises financial institutions on corporate and employment matters, thus providing them with one-stop-shop legal service.
She also represents financial institutions and other corporate clients in complex commercial disputes and advises clients in dispute related negotiations.
Merima has currently focused on FinTech companies and their products, as well as regulatory issues surrounding their activities in the local market.

Merima graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo as one of the best students of her generation and is a holder of the silver medal of the University of Sarajevo. She holds an LL.M in Civil law obtained at the same institution.
