Career

Begum Ergin is a corporate lawyer specialized in all aspects of corporate law, including contracts, M&A’s, establishment of legal entities and legal due diligence. With her vast experience in a big-four accounting firm, she also advises clients on legal immigration processes and employment law related legal issues.

Focusing on the emerging areas of law, she further provides advisory on data protection law and recent practices in the IT sector. She has expertise on areas such as competition, intellectual property, European Union and maritime law.

Following her experience at EY, she has started working for Solak&Partners as of 2018.

  • Legal advice on the process of more than 20 M&A in last year
  • Establishment of investment and business partnership and execution of negotiation processes
  • Designing the processes technology start-ups in the Turkey market and continuous legal advice
  • Drafting of more than 10 technology companies’ e-commerce contracts and their terms of use and legal support for consumer law
  • Since 2016, legal advice on data protection law to more than 50 companies including banks, insurance companies, airline companies and software companies
  • Follow-up and completion of more than 50 residence permit, work permit and citizenship applications
