Career
He is one of the founders of this practice with more than 20 years of intense activity, with a focus on the attention of criminal contingencies related to corporate activity.
Jorge Massa has a great expertise in litigation, defending companies thar are involved in crimes against Public Administration and Money Laundering – that by their complexity require a performance of great strategic capacity-. He knows with great clarity the investigation processes that the Congress of the Republic carries out and to date is realizing criminal compliance for several leading companies, combining a procedural perspective an in-depth knowledge of compliance as an alive being.
Throughout these years he has successfully defended high mediatic profile cases. In the last five years we could mention the absolution of the norweigan company Discover Petroleum International (process known as Petroaudios);and most recently the defense of Jose Graña Miró Quesada (Ex CEO and main partner of the biggest peruvian construction company Graña & Montero); and of Ricardo Briceño Villena (Ex President of CONFIEP, most important peruvian business gremial association)

He is graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and has magister studies at the same institution. He also has a specialist tittle in Criminal Compliance by the Universidad Castilla de la Mancha (UCLM) – Spain, is an Internationally Certified Compliance Professional (ICCP), recognized by the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA) and is also qualified as an PECB ISO 37001 (Antibribery Management System) lead implementer.
He has been teacher of Criminal Law and Crime Theory Course at the Universidad Privada de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) since 1999 until 2017 and has served as advisor to the Constitutional Commission of the Peruvian Congress.
