Career

Dr. Teichmann is admitted as an attorney before all courts in Switzerland, and undertakes notarial work as a notary public in the Canton of St. Gallen. As an attorney, he primarily works in the fields of company law, commercial law and employment law, as well as administrative and criminal law. However, he also has extensive expertise in family, matrimonial and inheritance matters. As a notary, he notarizes deeds relating to matters such as company formations, amendments to articles of association, plus marriage and inheritance contracts. As a result of his training in business management and work over several years as a business consultant, when providing legal advice, he also always considers both the tax and economic aspects in addition to the legal considerations.

Dr. Teichmann is also a member of the boards of directors of several national and international companies. In addition to Teichmann International (Schweiz) AG, the companies of which he is a director include Teichmann International (Liechtenstein) AG and Teichmann International (UK) Ltd. He is also Group Chairman of Teichmann International AG, and is able to offer to clients the firm’s own access to an international network of lawyers and notaries. Dr. Teichmann has published both books and articles in well-known professional journals on various topics relating to law and economic science. He has a particular interest in criminal law and criminology. Dr. Teichmann lectures on these topics at several universities.

Education

Dr. Teichmann studied economic science and finance at Bocconi University in Italy, management at Harvard, and accounting, finance and law at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He graduated as a doctor of law from the University of Zurich, and acquired a doctorate in economic sciences at the University of Kassel in Germany. Dr. Teichmann also holds an LL.M. in International Financial and Commercial Law as well as a M.Sc. in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London. In addition, he has earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Information Management Systems from Harvard University as well as Executive degrees in Marketing and Sales from SDA Bocconi and ESADE.
