Career

Marcin Serafin is a partner in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and the head of the Data Protection and Privacy practice.

He advises clients on contract negotiations, the selection of business models and legal aspects of intellectual property. He has advised on some of the largest projects in the IT, telecommunications, energy, financial and industrial sectors.

He has advised on the largest projects in the IT, telecommunications, energy, financial and industrial sectors, helping IT departments to, among other things, successfully implement strategic projects. He has overseen GDPR projects of more than 140 organisations. Currently, Marcin manages a team of 20 lawyers. From 2013 to 2014, he was a public policy manager at Google. He is a lecturer and a business coach at universities (the University of Warsaw, the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków) and private training courses.
