Position

Laura is a Partner and Head of the Property Litigation team. Laura’s client base includes a shopping centre landlord, property investors and developers, large institutional landlords, national retailers, corporate occupiers and owner managed businesses many of which are household names. Laura is experienced in all aspects of property related disputes and has particular expertise in portfolio management including unopposed and opposed lease renewals, vacant possession and exit strategies, dilapidations claims and all aspects of covenant enforcement.  

Recently Laura has advised on well publicised retailer CVAs and the first reported Restructuring Plan in the hospitality and leisure sector.

 

 

Career

Laura joined Tyr as a Partner in November 2020. Prior to that Laura was a Partner at Schofield Sweeney where she worked for 9 years following qualification at a commercial firm in Leeds.
