Fiona Bantock has a unique practice spanning corporate tax, individual tax, employee benefits, and executive compensation. Working closely alongside Hogan Lovells’ specialist transfer pricing and valuation team, this enables Fiona to provide both UK and international clients with a one-stop shop for all tax and structuring aspects of complex private equity transactions and employee incentives.

Fiona advises across the whole employee incentive spectrum from bespoke management equity planning for private equity and venture capital clients to domestic and multinational employee share plans. Her employee incentive advice is underpinned by her broad transactional experience in both a mergers and acquisitions and private equity context.

Hogan Lovells International LLP has a dedicated employee share incentives team covering corporate, tax, trust and financial services law and regulation in connection with management and employee share incentive arrangements. Since the beginning of 2020, the team – which works closely with colleagues in the wider corporate, employment, tax and transfer pricing departments to offer a more rounded service to clients – has been headed by newly promoted tax and incentives partner Fiona Bantock. Paul Randall, who chairs the Share Plan Lawyers’ Corporate and Regulatory Committee and sits on the SPL’s Executive Committee, now serves as a senior counsel.

The group at Hogan Lovells International LLP advises multinational companies and financial institutions on their domestic and international tax issues. It has developed a specialism in employee benefits and executive compensation tax, an area in which Fiona Bantock takes the lead. Department head Elliot Weston is a transactional tax expert, who also has experience of reorganisations and finance transactions. Karen Hughes is active in M&A, restructurings and international tax planning matters. Elsewhere, the firm is noted for its ability to field an in-house transfer pricing team.
