Position

Inken Knief represents clients in international and domestic arbitration proceedings. She has extensive experience in handling complex disputes and arbitrations, both ad hoc and before most major arbitral institutions (including International Chamber of Commerce, German Arbitration Institute, Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution, Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Vienna International Arbitral Centre, and Permanent Court of Arbitration), governed by a variety of substantive and procedural laws, and seated anywhere in the world. She also frequently serves as arbitrator.

Inken’s practice has a particular focus on life sciences, the aerospace and defense sector, as well as post mergers & acquisitions disputes. One of Inken’s particular strengths lies in her eagerness to understand the details of any technical issues involved in her cases, in order to be able to discuss those at eye level with her clients, experts and arbitral tribunals.
