Salma has extensive experience in international investment and commercial arbitration, obtained through working in leading law firms in Egypt and France. Her expertise revolves around public international law and international arbitration. Salma has been practising for over ten years.

Memberships
Salma is an accredited Mediator by CEDR in London and has represented clients in past mediations. She also trains prospective mediators in the MENA region to promote alternative dispute resolution. She trained prospective mediators for accreditation by CEDR as part of the International Finance Corporation’s project aimed at promoting mediation in the MENA region.
Salma sat as a Judge in the 12th, 13th, and 14th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competitions.She successfully completed JAMS commercial mediation training program. The training program provides participants with specialised training in the mediation of commercial disputes and related legal matters. Salma was also the ICC YAF Regional Chapter Coordinator for Egypt for 2017 – 2019.
Education
Salma holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Public International Law from Leiden University as well as an LLB from Cairo University.
