Position

Silvia has represented and assisted clients in several voluminous civil matters, including in proceedings concerning the recognition and entry into force of foreign judgments, arbitration proceedings and also enforcement proceedings. Silvia has advised clients on various disputes and issues related to intellectual property and the IT sector. She is also experienced in the field of insolvency, including in proceedings for the release from obligations and reorganisation proceedings of debtors.

In 2017, Silvia defended her Master’s degree (cum laude) at the University of Tartu, where she studied copyright problems associated with music sampling for the first time in Estonia. As a guest lecturer, Silvia has teached intellectual property law to master’s degree students of Estonian Business School’s and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre’s joint curriculum for cultural management.

Silvia’s debut poetry book Siht/koht won the Betti Alver Literary Award in 2016.
