Position

Partner specialising in complex financing transactions within the context of both domestic and cross-border leveraged, M&A and corporate financings and refinancings transactions for which she advises investment funds, industrial groups and financial institutions. Yaëlle Cohen is also very active in restructuring transactions in the context of both out-of-court debt restructurings (mandat ad hoc, conciliation) and insolvency proceedings.

Recent work includes advising Crédit Agricole Assurances in its capacity as shareholder of AccorInvest on the restructuring of AccorInvest’s €4.5 billion debt in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, including a recapitalisation of the group through a €477 million share capital increase.

Yaëlle joined BDGS Associés as partner in 2021. She previously worked at Shearman & Sterling LLP (2018-2021), Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP (2013-2018) and Herbert Smith Freehills Paris LLP (2011-2012).
