Mr Anders Wimert
Position
Anders is a partner specialising in Swedish construction law and dispute resolution. He advises clients on all phases of construction projects and has particular experience of advising on claims in civil engineering projects. Anders is frequently appointed as an arbitrator.
Career
Anders is on the expert panel of the Swedish Building Centre for developing new standards for civil engineering works.
Before founding Wimert Lundgren he worked at Lindahl, one of Sweden’s largest law firms, in Stockholm 2008–2011, where he headed the construction law practice. Prior to that he had worked at the NCC Group, where he was general counsel at NCC Construction Sverige AB from 2002 to 2008. Before that he served at several Swedish courts, including Svea Court of Appeal in Stockholm. He was a member of the Swedish Construction Contracts Committee 2003–2008, and was involved in negotiating and drafting the standard forms of contract AB 04 and ABT 06.
