Position

Lawrence Pearce is a Partner in the Holmes & Hills’ Construction Division.

Lawrence works with main contractors, sub-contractors, contract managers and construction professionals on claims relating to construction contracts and project.

Not only does Lawrence have an extremely successful record of advising and representing clients in respect of Adjudication claims. He also advises on:

  • Defects and defect liability periods
  • Delay and loss and expense claims
  • Practical completion
  • Suspension and termination
  • Interim and final account disputes

Career

Lawrence joined Holmes & Hills in October 2020 and was made Partner in 2023. Lawrence’s reputation in the Construction Industry precedes him, and this paved the way for Holmes & Hills’ Construction Division being appointed as national legal partner for The Scaffolding Association in February 2021.

Lawrence appears with frequency at events and podcasts within the construction industry.

Moreover, Lawrence spearheaded the design and launch of the Construction Division’s non-contentious training services alongside Sam Bawden, which have proved extremely popular with existing clients and have been a first instruction for many new clients.

Lawrence appears frequently in lead roles on multiple matters, makes a major contribution to the Construction Division’s success and receives significant recognition from clients and peers in the market.
